Sculpturally designed Hive pendant light
The design of the Hive pendant light expresses the creative approach of the Danish designer Verner Panton in a very striking way. Verner Panton (1926–1998) was renowned for his play with geometric shapes. He was often inspired by the organic silhouettes found in nature, which themselves frequently feature geometric forms.
Hive not only directs the light from the bulb straight downwards, but also diffuses it sideways through the overlapping layers. This is done entirely without glare.
A pendant light that is just as suitable for effective general lighting as it is, for example, for creating atmospheric lighting over a table in the living or dining room.
