The striking Aria designer wall light for unexpected plays of light on the wall

The Aria wall light captivates with its striking size and its dynamic, flowing lighting design. A radial structure comprising 50 different ‘arms’ protects the light sources inside the basket whilst simultaneously creating a three-dimensional effect. Only high-quality technopolymers, such as Lentiflex® and Cristalflex® – which are manufactured in-house by Slamp – were used in the production of this designer light. Lentiflex® provides warm and even lighting, whilst Cristalflex® lends Slamp’s light fittings the grace and preciousness of glass. Technopolymers are plastics characterised by their lightness.

With bulbs that emit a pleasant, warm white light, the wall light creates a cosy and harmonious atmosphere and projects unexpected patterns of light onto the walls. Aria is by no means merely a source of light, but also a decorative element with a luxurious flair. It is suitable for use in both private living spaces and public environments.

The design is the brainchild of the internationally renowned architect Zaha Hadid. The winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize is known for her architectural works, which are characterised by the realisation of extraordinary and dynamic forms. Zaha Hadid was named an ‘Artist for Peace’ by UNESCO and included in *The Times* magazine’s list of the ‘100 most influential people in the world’. All her dynamic and innovative projects are based on over thirty years of research across a wide range of sectors related to urban planning, architecture and design.

The Italian company Slamp was founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani and is characterised by its use of materials developed and manufactured in-house. These technopolymers enable designers to create shapes that would be impossible to achieve with other materials.
