Padea dimmable and ZigBee-enabled LED bollard light with house number and motion and twilight sensors
The splash-proof Padea LED bollard light serves both as a guide and to display the house number. A set of numbers and letters for personalised labelling is included in the scope of delivery. The built-in twilight sensor handles the automatic control. When it gets dark, it automatically switches Padea on, illuminating the area with warm white light at a preset output of 20 per cent. The integrated motion sensor increases the light output for thirty seconds whenever it detects people.
The light emits ambient light with a low colour temperature of 2,200 K. This colour temperature is in line with recommendations from professional associations and scientific studies aimed at reducing the attractiveness of artificial lighting to many nocturnal insects.
Manual adjustment of brightness and colour temperature is also possible through integration into a ZigBee-based smart home system. Paulmann offers the smik gateway, available as an accessory, to act as a bridge; this can be ordered separately. Using the free smik app, Padea can thus be controlled via a smartphone. Integration with other ZigBee-enabled smart home systems is also possible. It can also be used without a bridge: with ZigBee handheld transmitters, such as the Gent remote control from Paulmann, which are also available as accessories.
