Made in Germany: DNA Triple designer pendant light from next The appearance of the DNA Triple pendant light reminds even chemistry and biology novices of the structural models of molecules they learnt about at school. In fact, according to the name of the light, it is supposed to be a DNA molecule. The designers Hopf & Wortmann have used a total of seven "atoms", i.e. sockets and therefore bulbs, for the third largest light in the series - hence "Triple" - which are connected to each other by a plastic construct in the style of a molecule model. As the DNA pendant light is completely without lampshades, the view of the bulbs is unobstructed. These should therefore be chosen with care. The Globe bulbs, which look slightly larger and rounder than conventional bulbs, are available with matt and clear glass bulbs as well as with a golden glass bulb, for example - or even as rustic bulbs, which can add a certain nostalgic charm. DNA Triple is a quality product made in Germany and comes from the Cologne-based lighting manufacturer next. Founded in 2000 by Thomas Schulte, production and sales have been based in the Rhine metropolis since 2005.
