Falke Svatun is a Norwegian designer who studied industrial design in Sydney and, after gaining professional experience in Copenhagen, founded his own studio in Oslo. His creative process always begins with analogue sketches, but is a blend of analogue and digital methods. He sees design as a maturing process. His work moves between functionality and abstraction, inspired by everyday objects and historical forms. Using experimental materials and a craft-based approach, he creates sculptural, tactile objects that encourage reflection.
