The Kantarell LED floor lamp from NEW WORKS combines Scandinavian elegance with modern functionality. Its minimalist design, characterised by aluminium and steel in a black-and-white colour scheme, blends harmoniously into modern and Scandinavian-inspired interior designs. The integrated LED light source provides warm white light with a colour temperature of 2,700 K, creating a pleasant lighting atmosphere. Falke Svatun is a Norwegian designer who studied industrial design in Sydney and, after gaining professional experience in Copenhagen, founded his own studio in Oslo. His creative process always begins with analogue sketches, but is a blend of analogue and digital methods. He sees design as a maturing process. His work moves between functionality and abstraction, inspired by everyday objects and historical forms. Using experimental materials and a craft-based approach, he creates sculptural, tactile objects that invite reflection.
