8-bulb Matrix Otto pendant light with movable arms Eight adjustable stainless steel arms sit on the round centre element of the Matrix Otto pendant light and can each be adjusted as required. The arms only hold one E27 socket each and there are no lampshades. The choice of bulbs (clear or tinted globe bulbs with filament technology look particularly beautiful) can be used to change the appearance of the pendant light and its lighting effect. The Matrix Otto pendant light was designed by industrial designer Yaacov Kaufman. As part of his research into the friction mechanism, he came up with the idea for the Matrix luminaire series back in 2000, which is characterised by its minimalist yet sophisticated design. The Israeli industrial designer and academic Yaacov Kaufman designed the Matrix luminaire series for the Italian luminaire manufacturer LUMINA. The company manufactures lights according to the principle of "lots of light - few lamps" and combines form and function to create simple, high-quality products, some of which are Icons on the market. Sustainability is part of LUMINA's business philosophy. The materials chosen for production are noble and recyclable, such as aluminium, steel and Glas. The lights are produced in Italy and the energy is mainly generated by solar panels. All packaging is also recyclable.
