The entire mechanism of the table lamp is housed in a thick glass cylinder made of high-quality borosilicate glass with a thickness of 7 mm, which was manufactured in Germany for special applications. The warm white LED sits at the bottom of the glass cylinder, emits a powerful upward beam and is reflected by the conical diffuser at the top of the glass cylinder, creating a very special, indirect lighting effect that is characterised by particularly good colour rendering (Ra 97) as well as being glare-free. Whether switched on or off, the LED table lamp EVA is an elegant design object wherever it is placed. The flat aluminium base of the light is fitted with a movable, grooved Ring. This acts as a dimmer and allows the light to be dimmed from 100% to 10%. The Eva LED table lamp, which is manufactured in Italy by luminaire manufacturer Lumina, was designed by Foster + Partners, one of the world's best-known architecture firms. Foster + Partners' most famous commissions include the redesign of the Reichstag in Berlin and Wembley Stadium in London. The manufacturing company LUMINA Italia was founded in 1980 by Tommaso Ciminiere. LUMINA manufactures lights of the highest quality and attaches particular importance to durability and sustainability, including in production. The energy for the company's facilities is mainly generated by solar panels, the materials required for production (mainly aluminium, steel and Glas) are largely sourced locally, plastic is only used when absolutely necessary and all packaging materials are recyclable.
