PH 80 floor lamp with three-layered lampshade and integrated dimming function
The standout visual feature of the PH 80 floor lamp is its three-layered lampshade, which is made from opal-white acrylic. The base is made of powder-coated steel. The light emits diffused and reflected light into the surrounding area, with most of it directed towards the floor. Thanks to its understated colour scheme, the floor lamp can be easily incorporated into a variety of living spaces and interiors. With a dimmable bulb, the brightness of the PH 80 can be adjusted using the switch integrated into the cable.
The well-known three-shade system is a hallmark of the lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen and was designed by Poul Henningsen. During his collaboration with the Danish company, 19 models in various shapes and colours were created. The PH 80 floor lamp was produced to mark Henningsen’s 80th birthday in 1974, which is how it got its name.
