PH 2/1 table lamp – an attractively designed supplementary light source
The PH 2/1 table lamp captivates with its timeless beauty, which enhances many interior styles, as well as its light distribution, which – thanks to the reflective three-shade system – delivers high luminous efficiency with light directed primarily downwards. The lampshades are made from handblown glass formed in three layers. The glass has a glossy finish on the outside, whilst the inside has been sandblasted to a matt finish, creating a wonderfully beautiful lighting atmosphere.
The lamp base and the stem are made of brass and have been given a high-quality finish that further emphasises the light’s elegant appearance.
The PH 2/1 table lamp was designed by the Danish designer Poul Henningsen, who collaborated with the lighting company Louis Poulsen from 1925 until his death in 1967, and whose lifelong endeavour was dedicated to designing glare-free lights.
