Revolutionary lamp design – Take table lamp
The small Take table lamp was created by the Italian designer Ferruccio Laviani. What makes the design so special is that the table lamp consists of two mirror-image halves, joined in the centre by a rectangular panel. All parts are manufactured from polycarbonate using injection moulding. At first glance, it therefore resembles a typical bedside table lamp, but as a ‘half-lamp’, it is divided in the middle by a two-dimensional panel. In the transparent versions, the lampshade is pleated on the inside, creating unique light reflections and a cosy atmosphere when the light is switched on.
The small Take table lamp is ideal as a bedside table lamp in the bedroom, as colourful lighting in a child’s bedroom, or as an elegant lighting feature in the living room.
