Light-Air LED designer wall light by Eugeni Quitllet


The modern Light-Air LED wall light is made from transparent plastic, but it features a special highlight inside the lampshade: a beige fabric lampshade fitted within the downward-opening fixture. The bulb sits beneath the fabric lampshade and shines primarily downwards. The light is diffused by the lampshade and emitted more softly into the room, contributing to an even cosier atmosphere. Overall, the light has a very minimalist design without many details or embellishments, which further highlights the fabric lampshade and the mix of materials – plastic and fabric.

The Italian brand Kartell is renowned for its plastic furniture. The use of a fabric shade in this wall light is something of a departure for Kartell. Kartell’s lights are created by various international designers; in this case, it was the Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet who designed the Light-Air series of lights.
