Product description

The round, elegantly designed Kalimantan pendant light creates a very special lighting ambience and harmoniously complements any natural-style interior. Its large, horizontally oriented lampshade is made of bamboo. As a visual highlight, the top has been finished in black bamboo whilst the underside retains its natural colour. The woven pattern creates slits through which the light can escape all round, creating a cosy atmosphere. A round opening has been incorporated at the bottom, through which the light is emitted directly and the bulb becomes visible. To enhance the decorative appeal of the Kalimantan, we recommend choosing a filament bulb with a warm white light colour.


The lampshades in this lighting collection are handmade by people in Vietnam. This enables them to preserve and practise their traditional techniques whilst, at the same time, securing their livelihoods through their work.
