Fine bamboo strips have been hand-woven to form the lampshade of the Ibiza ceiling light, creating a beautifully shaped lampshade that is reminiscent of a sun hat with wavy brim. The ceiling light is a product from the Good & Mojo label, which sells sustainable lighting and thereby benefits both people and the environment. The lampshade for the Ibiza series of lights is made from bamboo, an extremely robust and flexible material that regrows very quickly and is cultivated without fertilisers or other chemical pesticides. Through its partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects, a tree is planted for every light sold, meaning that Good & Mojo has now planted more than 150,000 trees. The brand is also a partner of the WakaWaka Foundation, an organisation that provides solar lights to people in various regions without access to the electricity grid.
