The Bhutan floor lamp with double-layered bamboo lampshade
The Bhutan floor lamp lends a natural flair to any interior. Crafted from sustainable bamboo, it captivates with its colour scheme and cohesive design. The lampshade, in particular, features intricate weaving patterns that create an atmospheric glow.
Fitted with a sturdy base and a straight frame, the Bhutan is easy to position. At the top, an easy-to-use joint supports an additional, slightly outstretching arm – also made of bamboo – which allows for height adjustment. The double-layered lampshade is suspended from this arm by a black fabric cable. The inner, natural-coloured lampshade is narrow and tall, whilst the outer lampshade surrounds it centrally and is woven from black and natural-coloured bamboo. The light from the bulb creates a cosy atmosphere in the room as it passes through the intricate structure of the cylindrical lampshades.
Bamboo is considered a fast-growing, strong and flexible material that produces more oxygen than trees and, thanks to its properties, does not need to be replanted but simply regrows repeatedly.
