Braille designer pendant light in spherical shape - made in Italy The Braille pendant light is a model by Italian designer Matteo Ugolini, who dedicated this design to his friend, Karman founder Davide Diamantini. Ugolini is one of the main designers of the light manufacturer Karman, which is based near San Marino in the Italian province and designs and manufactures all its products in Italy. The lights in the Braille series are mouth-blown and then provided with a pattern that is reminiscent of tribals in terms of the characters, but of Braille, which is read by the blind, in the way it is embossed. The raised characters of this script can be felt by the reader's fingers. The patterns in the frosted glass body of the pendant light are also raised and can be felt with the fingers. The frosted glass, with its texture and translucency, helps to ensure that the light that is emitted is absolutely glare-free and gently diffused.
