Product description

Handmade Parrot L pendant light with colourful rattan and Abacá lampshade Parrot - the English word for parrot is reflected in the design of the eponymous pendant light by French lighting manufacturer Forestier. The pendant light is particularly eye-catching thanks to its strikingly designed lampshade, which is made from rattan and abacá and comes in a variety of Warm colours. The suspension system consists of a textile cable, while the canopy is made of metal. Both elements are designed in a neutral black colour. The bulb holder, which is enclosed by a diffuser, is also located on the inside of the lampshade. Product designer Jette Scheib is responsible for the design of the Parrot light collection. She was inspired by the diversity and cultural influence in the design of baskets and, with Parrot, emphasises the colourful and expressive facet of basket culture.
