Airy Papillon XS designer wall light with shelf and plug-in cable
This enchanting Papillon XS wall light by designer Élise Fouin creates geometric shapes in the style of the 1950s and draws the viewer's attention to the airy, light lampshade. Three stacked domes of different sizes, made of airy metal wires and with wavy edges, form the unique lampshade around the E14 socket. When the light source is switched on, it creates stunning lighting effects that fascinate with a unique play of light and shadow on the wall. Like a lantern, the lampshade hangs from a curved rod, which has a round shelf at the bottom for displaying your favourite objects. A cable with a plug is connected to the light, which also has a switch for turning it on and off.
Designer Élise Fouin focuses on the material itself, placing the object somewhat in the background. Her works are characterised by the use of recycled materials as raw materials, which are constantly being reinvented and developed into sustainable and poetic lights.
