The finish of the shade is created in a complex handicraft process. After the surface has been oxidised by fire, it is brushed, sponged, polished and sanded. This gives each individual Lens a unique touch. The light from the LED strip falls onto a convex lens-shaped shade and into the room through its irregularly arranged round openings of different sizes. The design may be reminiscent of an antique shield or the starry night sky - Lens sets no limits to the viewer's imagination.
