Ixa Reading LED floor lamp with dimmer and adjustable head
The Ixa series of lights from the Italian premium manufacturer Artemide is a concept by the design and architecture studio Foster + Partners, which was founded in 1967 by the renowned British architect Norman Foster.
Its distinctive feature is the almost spherical aluminium head, which, in this LED floor lamp, is supported by a steel frame whose vertical arm is angled horizontally at the top. The head can be rotated and swivelled, allowing the direction of the light output to be adjusted as required. The warm white light, which also boasts good colour rendering (CRI 90), is switched on and dimmable using push-buttons on the head.
