The Ixa LED wall light with dimmer and adjustable arm
The series of lights Ixa from the premium Italian manufacturer Artemide is a design by the design and architecture studio Foster & Partners, which was founded in 1967 by the renowned British architect Norman Foster.
Its defining feature is the almost spherical aluminium head, which, in this LED wall light, is supported by a two-section steel arm. The front section, which supports the head, can be rotated and swivelled and is held in position by a counterweight. Furthermore, the head can be rotated all the way round, allowing the direction of the light output to be adjusted as required. The warm white light, which also boasts excellent colour rendering (CRI 90), is switched on and dimmed using push-buttons on the head.
Ixa shines in living spaces, communal areas and commercial premises as an expression of functional and productive intelligence achieved through reduction and simplification – the result of sound design expertise.
